Kevin W. Clancy
Mr. Clancy has trial experience in the Massachusetts courts and has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and has represented clients in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts. He has also appeared pro hac vice in state and federal courts throughout the United States, as well as the International Court of Arbitration. From 2004 through 2008, Mr. Clancy was named a Massachusetts “Super Lawyer” in the field of Business Litigation by the publishers of Boston Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine. Mr. Clancy graduated from Boston College Law School in 1988, where he was an Editor of the Boston College Law Review. He received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Boston College in 1985. Prior to joining Cooke Clancy & Gruenthal LLP, Mr. Clancy practiced for three years as a litigation associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, joined the law department of RECOLL Management Corporation, and was associated with the Trial Department of Widett, Slater & Goldman. Mr. Clancy has served as a Trial Advisor for the Harvard Trial Advocacy Workshop. In 1999, Mr. Clancy accepted the position of General Counsel at LavaStorm, Inc., a telecommunications software company in Boston, Massachusetts, rejoining the firm in 2001. Since 1998, Mr. Clancy has served as the elected Moderator for the Holliston, Massachusetts Town Meeting.
